Auberge des Pêcheurs

We were very fortunate to find this wonderful French restaurant our final night in France. The owner lead us to a romantic little table, lit the candle and proceeded to charm us not only with personality but his recommendations for a light meal. I began with an entrée of a lobster ravioli which is indescribable in its flavor and complexity. My husband had fish soup which made him cross his eyes with happiness. He then had a monkfish Brochette that was not only beautiful but deliciously prepared. I saved room for profiteroles and I am a wise woman indeed! As we left the owner shouted «God bless America!» To which one of the French patrons replied «Dieu bénisse France!» We concur. If you’re anywhere near Giverny to see Monet this is the perfect spot for a meal. It’s only about an hour outside of Paris (outside of rush hours) and a wonderful place if you want to get out of Paris for an evening’s dinner.

très bon restaurant réputé. Toujours beaucoup de monde. La cuisine est fine avec en priorité les produits de la mer. Un peu cher mais c’est inévitable. révserver c’est mieux.
