Hands down the BEST… most romantic… authentic…and, breathtaking Christkindlmarkt of the several I’ve been to in Germany. Pay the entrance fee with a smile… you definitely get your money’s worth. Set on the grounds of the Thurn und Taxis castle, there is an abundance of high quality artisans, delicious food, and even a very real looking Weihnachtsmann («Christmas Man»). Bundle up, warm up your insides with glühwein, and shop until you drop (or freeze… whichever happens first).
