Aéroport de Paris Charles de Gaulle – CDG – Terminal 2A

Actually was in and out of this airport a total of 4 times during my trip. And even got to ride the tram that takes you from one part of the airport to the next as well.
Customs: Quick, painless and sectioned off into 3 – 4 general line areas. There was a line for specifically USA passports so I was fairly in line and out of the airport a little bit over an hour after gathering my luggage.
Once you exit the airport out of one of the doorways, you’re basically met with a small road that people can use to either pick up their passengers or drop them off. There wasn’t an actual parking lot that I could see where people can park their cars to wait for passengers so I assume there is a separate lot elsewhere on the airport grounds.
Depending on the airline that you’re flying out of. that could mean different parts of the airport you’ll have to be at. For British Airways. I found them in the lower level of the main floor (where all the big shot airlines were) in a random room around a corner dedicated entirely to them. Definitely very odd. For United/​AeroFrance, they were in the main carriers’ area and that was way more confusing trying to find the correct area you needed to be at in order to check in your bags, before going through security and then boarding your flight.
Overall, just a very confusing and busy airport as one of the main airports for Paris. There are no one monitoring the lines for security checks (it was basically just a big crowd advancing toward the actual roped off areas) and not very well thought of roped off lines starting up where people exit from checking in & their bags at their respective airline carriers into one big general area where people cut in line in front of you when you’ve been lining up properly in order (because people see the line right when they enter into the room, they just push their way to the front, disregarding everyone that’s already in line so that it just becomes one big crowd hustling to get to the roped off areas where order resumes). Security guards you ask to maintain order? None in sight.
Try to get to the airport early as there isn’t a lot of different highways to get to their airport. On our last day there, we were almost late to check in as there was an accident which delayed us for almost an hour of our already cushioned time to the airport. There were no other alternative roads to take as there is only one highway that drives past the airport with different exits for different parts of the airport.

El aeropuerto está bien, es bastante grande y tiene muchas tiendas, algunas terminales, otras no.
La T3 por ejemplo es poco más que un barracón, además de estar muy lejos de todas las demás.
Hay transporte entre las terminales y puedes hacer tránsito entre las terminales 2, pero para la T3 tienes que salir y coger un monorrail.
