I had a very disappointed stay here. During check in, I was told the room was not ready yet, even though it was past the check in time indicated on my reservation. Then the rooms we got had various problems. First we found a loose screw in one of the bathrooms, one of the sinks was clogged, and my room had foul odor. Then on Wednesday night, the hotel hosted a dance party event that ran late into the night. While I appreciate them hosting event/party for the guest, they should consider whether they’re equip for it. The sound proof for the rooms were very poor. I called front desk complaining about the sound and got no solution rather I had to just waited out. Then the next day, the cleaning crew took away one of the towels that we brought ourself. When I talked to the front desk, the lady was not very helpful and simply told us to come back the next morning. We never got our towel back. Staying at a spa hotel was supposed to be relaxing, but my stay was far far from it.

I truly enjoyed my stay I would go back just for the pool and spa. Very classy hotel with an excellent indoor pool and saunas hot dry and wet very clean. The kitchenette inside the rooms were perfect for cooking your own meals if you didn’t want to go to the restaurant downstairs. They provided courtesy ride to the little town nearby where you can use an ATM machine. Walking distance from the hotel were many restaurants and a grocery store. I would give this hotel five stars if the spa and massage section was open when I arrived it was not. All in all I enjoy my stay.

I cannot forgive thin walls & hard beds. I wish I was back in Paris in my super quiet & comfy 120sf Lafayette/Opera hotel room overlooking a 50sf courtyard for $ 150 per night. I loved it! Wifi — once I figured out how to properly log in, it was fine. I just uploaded a video to fb, so no worries there. I have to log back in every time I use it. That’s a pain. Visiting the village & grocery store — There’s a «village» behind the hotel. Go left from the exit & walk past the visitors center, then left through the park. When you see the«centre ville» sign, walk down to the little plaza.(7 mins) There’s a grocery store on the right. Skip all of the overpriced restaurants. I got 2 microwave dinners & a big bottle of water for under 6 euros. BEEXTREMELYCAREFULWITHYOURPURSE&MONEY! The cuteness of the«village» is very deceptive. A pretty young blond was walking rapidly off with a second handbag that was clearly not her own. Also, the mood of the villagers was off-putting, & I speak French fluently, & look like a chubby European, so it’s not an anti-American thing. I got a bad vibe from this section of town. Office de tourisme — Like most in France, it was great & had free maps with friendly service. Front desk — no problems for me. I forgot about putting my room key in the elevator thingy, & the guy came over to show me. When I went to ask about the wifi, nice girl explained it. Door man — told me to go to the village to get a better price on dinner… etc. They don’t wait until you’ve been there for at least one night before coming in to tidy your room, so put the red hanging thingy on the outside of the door so you don’t get a surprise. Bed — Squeaky, hard bed that slides around & separates in the middle. 2 twins pushed together. Noise — I can hear every door open & any conversation in the hallway. Shuttle — long ride, but it got me here. Price — I got a discount with OrBucks, so it was only $ 127 for me. Food — good, but the price! Really?!! WTWhat?!

This is a superb property that is ruined by a major flaw for the business traveller and my personal bug bear — poor Internet connectivity. It is clear that they have invested a fair amount of money into their Wifi infrastructure, there is an access point every 10 meters or so in the hallways which gives excellent coverage in the rooms. No problem there. If you actually attempt to use the internet then you’ll find that it’s a disaster. It is barely usable for e-mail let alone surfing. When I complained about how poor the Internet service is I was greeted with the usual French indifference and universal shrug that means«it’s not my problem». If you rely on the Internet for anything other than an ad hoc«I’ve arrived» e-mail then you would be well advised to avoid this hotel. This is not a cheap hotel, the standard rack rate is over 300 Euros for a standard room, with discounts you’re looking at paying 150 – 180. The rooms are beautifully equipped and finished. My room which was at the back of the property was very quiet, just what I needed after the red eye from New York. There is also a small kitchen area complete with a microwave, dishwasher and coffee making facilities. I’m not sure where you can purchase anything to put in the microwave however, the location is in the middle of nowhere next to CDG airport. A notable mention for a European hotel — the shower in the bathroom was exceptional, good pressure and lots of water. Another issue was the lack of iron and ironing board in the room. You have to call down to the front desk and then send them up to the room which is an annoyance. If the owners fixed the internet then this would be a perfect hotel for me. That said it’s a better property than many of the chain hotels in the immediate vicinity.
