Two stars for the staff. The hotel, this is NOT the typical Marriott property, closer to a low level chain. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Stay away if your expecting Marriott quality.

Great staff(especially Amanda at the front desk). Willing to help you with anything. A little ways outside of Paris, but easy to get to by metro. Only complaint would be housekeeping was not the greatest– left crumbs on my bed, trash in my hall, and did not replenish my coffee cups. I only had them clean my room once because of this.

Not impressed. Typical Courtyard experience, they nickel and dime you to death. Ridiculous. I mean, really 32 euros for Wi-Fi? Rental car, yeah… they charge to park here too… I know, shocking, huh?! It’s not cheap either. The room was nice, the location not so good; the neighborhood looks sketchy. The other perk about this hotel is the train is right outside your door. Make sure when getting a Metro Pass you get them for all areas, or you could get stuck at Palace of Versailles begging for euros until a window opens up; machines here do not take credit cards. If you’re leaving to the airport, make sure you leave at least 45 minutes early on top of the flight time allowance you make to get on your plane. Even though the hotel is close to the airport, it does not take into account the crazy Paris traffic. Long lines to get to departing area of airprt and car rental return. Room nice but for perks even being a rewards member, skip it.

I stayed here in January for a business convention, and this was one of the few remaining hotels around… I think I know why. Generally the hotel was clean, quick, and the employees were friendly at times who didn’t make sly remarks to Americans… which is a major plus in Europe. Although, I cam back at 8pm from the convention on 1÷7÷14, and th door to the hotel was locked. They said they do it for security reasons. O_O … I felt safe then. The area is atrocious, its a run down, immigrant working community, quoted by the Front Desk Associate. There is a crêpe shop diagnol from the hotel, that is splendid I must say! Overall, just stay 5 miles south of here into the city centre or La Defense… trust me.

Caution… I made reservations here which I had to cancel due to business scheduling conflicts. Anyone who travels on business knows how common this is. I cancelled my reservation at least two weeks before travel and received cancellation notice along with confirmation number. I thought that was that until I received my credit card statement. They had billed me the full amount. When I contacted the hotel, they sent me a curt reply stating it was my fault because I had not read the fine print. Bottom line, this hotel ripped me off-they stole my money, rented the room to someone else and then would not give it back. BEWARE– this is nothing short of fraud. I would not recommend anyone book a room at this hotel under any circumstance… ever.

Ok, the hotel itself is very nice and clean. Neighborhood isn’t great but what can you do. The complimentary breakfast is about as good as I’ve ever had… probably the best. The restaurant food is very good as well although when I was there they didn’t serve Entrees and Dessert for some reason, however they did let me order the«Macaron» which was soo delicious! I would have easily given this hotel 5 stars had it not been for this front desk person who wasn’t friendly and rude. There was a gentlemen there that was very friendly, but the gal(I didn’t catch her name) was anything but helpful. PLUS they must have an agreement w/certain taxi cab drivers b/c on TWO occasions we asked them to call us a taxi, we got the SAMEGUY!!! The first time, his meter started off at 9 Euros. We asked him why and he then drove us back to talk to that front desk girl. She told us that the meter starts when they call the taxi, so if they are far, it will be more. OK, that’s fine if they told us that FIRST! now the second occasion, we asked the hotel to call a taxi for us the next morning(giving them plenty time to call a taxi«supposedly» gives us better rates since they can prep for a taxi that is closer vicinity). Sure enough, the next morning we see the SAMEGUY!!! we got in and his meter was… you guessed it, at 9 Euros. This time we didn’t make a big deal since we had to go to the airport and already tired of their antics. To sum it up: Great clean hotel, delicious food, but that one front desk girl and their«taxi buddy» destroyed the experience.
