Hate to give away one of my favorite places in the world… but a day spent on a lounge chair here, with servers circling you bringing truly amazing food and drink is my idea of perfection. It’s very small, very nice crowd, very off the beaten tourist path. The whole fresh fish is my favorite lunch brought to me right at my lounger. Of course you need a bottle of Provencal Rose(like everyone else!) sitting in a bucket of ice at your side. The Salad Nicoise is also perfect for a hot day on the beach. You need a car to get there .It is not cheap, maybe $ 175+ for two loungers/lunch — but what’s a perfect day worth?

We didn’t eat at the restaurant, this is just a review for the beach. We really enjoyed walking around St. Jean Cap Ferrat and this beach was easy to get to and walk around. Nice view of ships in the harbor, beautiful clear blue reef-like water. I wonder if there’s snorkeling? We even saw jellyfish.

Stopped by after my concierge recommended it. Pebble Beach was nice and quiet. Not many tourists. The view is awesome! Stayed for dinner. Wow. Food was great and very fresh. They only had one seating; reservations a must

just 20 min west of flashy Monte Carlo and east of tourist-overrun Nice is discreet idyll Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, a seasonal hotspot back in the«jetset» days. and tucked at the base of the cliffs of Chemin de Saint-Hospice’s well-guarded villas(the 5th priciest street in the world) is the gorgeous Plage Paloma et Restaurant. a few yachts were anchored offshore when we arrived and as the day passed, more sailed in keeping the restaurant’s water taxis busy zipping guests from boats to shore for lunch. spent the day feasting on gazpacho, burgers, boules of lavender ice cream and jumping off the pontoon for a swim in the turquoise bay and on pedalos(also jetskis/speedboats) loaned from the club, open daily from easter to Sept. to-do: hike the Sentier du Bord de Mer, a 14 km coastal footpath running the lenght of the cape beneath umbrella pines w/unforgettable views of the riviera. trivia: King Leopold II of Belgium.“discovered” Le Cap in the 1890s, bought vast tracts of land and built an estate, Les Cedres, hiding his then 16 yr old mistress from view.

Amazing view and scenery, dining next to the beach, very quiet, relaxed yet chic, a favourite in St Jean Cap Ferrat. Definitely worth trying every summer whether you live in the region or just visiting. The menu is short and not very original but the food is good, especially fresh fish. A bit on the expensive side(65 Euros a head, we were a group of 6)
