just 15 minutes up the coast from Saint-Malo is the fishing town of Cancale known as the oyster capital of Bretagne. indeed Cancale’s oysters and agneau pré-salé(pre-salted lamb) nourished on the salty marsh grass of the bay of Mont-St.-Michel have put each town on the roster of France’s ”100 sites remarquables du gout” — places with a unique local specialty. through the Michelin guide we found this small, refined restaurant where you can enjoy the best of Bretagne’s cuisine and dinner certainly lived up to the billing.
