Gare de Saint-Malo

La gare de Saint Malo, c’est synonyme de vacances en bord de mer, et ça … c’est priceless!
Quelques guichets, un point presse Relay et hop, on a tout ce qu’il faut, excepté peut être une marquise au dessus des quais et qui relierai le dépôt minute histoire de rester au sec les jours de mauvais temps (oui, ça arrive malgré tout …)

Saint-​Malo, a small coastal town in Brittany on the English channel, is a 3hr trip from Paris-​Montparnasse via TGV-France’s high speed train. once the base of the feared pirates (corsairs) who victimized english merchant ships in service of the king of France, the 12^th century Intramuros (walled city) was heavily fortified against Norman invaders. it traces it’s origins from a monastic settlement founded by followers of a gaellic monk named Mach-​Low (St. Malo) who settled here in the 6^th century and lived among hermits.
the gare (train station) is a 20 min. walk to intramuros but you can avail of the free shuttle bus to get to town. Saint-​Malo is an ideal base for visiting the magnificent abbey of Mont-​Saint-​Michel and Normandy.
