This place is definitely a gem on the island. We thoroughly enjoyed their pastries and sandwiches. The macarons are quite large compared to the ones I am used to seeing in the states and the prices are fair. They accept euros and US dollars. They have a wide selection of breakfast/brunch foods as well as what they have in their display cases. They also have fresh orange juice available and a selection of tropical fruit juices. We even grabbed some of their food to have on our flight home.

We had about 30 minutes to spare when our tour guide dropped us off near Sarafina’s. He recommended we stop in for a pastry, and I’m glad he gave us the tip! This place was absolutely maaarvelous! My husband and I shared a vanilla macaron, pistachio macaron, croque monsieur, ham and cheese croissant, and an apple tart. We added a coffee and a diet coke, and everything came to about $ 16US. What a steal! Everything was so delectable, we considered seconds, but we were out of time. Even the coffee was fabulous. If you are in the area, be sure to make a stop! I only wish this place wasn’t oceans away. I would surely be there every day!

While on a tour in St Martin, this was the only place our guide recommended and we were not disappointed! The menu is in French which made me a little nervous at first but it is part of the experience and most likely you will not be disappointed in what you choose to get! If you choose to come here, definitely get one of the desserts! I had the chocolate éclair and also tried the Napoleon. Both were SO amazing and the bread was also as fresh as can be. I hope that I will be coming back soon!

This bakery is the best of all the Caribbean we were told! After an all day tour of both sides of the island. Our tour guide told us we would be stopping to do some shopping in the open-air market, which is nearby this bakery. Be warned depending on the day that you go or season you might be in line for bit, as this place gets busy. Everything in the bakery is made fresh daily. Fresh sandwich, various croissant, cakes, breads, Brioche, baguettes, choux à la crème, Tarte aux framboises, arrested tartes, made to order Crepes, ice cream, fresh fruit, éclairs and the list keeps on going! When we arrived, which was in the middle of the afternoon most of the pastries and breads were half-gone. However, there sitting in the case staring back at me were a few rows of giant macarons. Finally, we get to try the real deal macaron. These suckers were huge(not the small mini ones we are use to eating) just think fluffy macaron shells with a little crispiness to it and inside is mouth watering(but not too sweet) filling. Our options were coffee, pistachio, raspberry chocolate and lemon. At $ 3.25, we ordered two. I got the raspberry and Minh got…(Well you will have to wait for Minh’s review to see what kind he got) Seating is open as they have regular size chairs and normal standard chairs to sit on. I would not recommend using their restroom in the bakery although the bakery itself is clean the bathroom is a nightmare to try to get out of as it locks on the inside but is completely open from the outside. I walked in to fix my hair only to have a guy open the door on me, embarrassed he said he was sorry. I would suggest using the open-air market bathroom is which are just down the way from the bakery! The service at this bakery is friendly and helpful, they take both cash and credit cards.

My parents insisted we stop into this French bakery while in St. Maarten. Great sandwiches, croissants and pastries. A good option for a quick lunch. The pastries were almost as good as Paris… almost. It’s nice to sit under the awning on a hot day(and perfect timing for us, because it poured for about 20 minutes while we were there!)

OMG! I thought for a minute I was in a Paris boulangerie. The smell was magnificent. I had an apricot Tarte. It was one of the best I ever had, and I’ve had many!
