I absolutely adore the vibe here. The people behind the counter shout a very welcoming ‘bonjour’ to everyone who enters, accompanied by a big smile. Almost the most favorite part of my visit at Pret a Manger are them :). But I also love the coffee(latte) and sandwiches, wraps and hot wraps and everything! When in the neighbourhood I always try to step by.

Prêt à manger c’est top. Celui-ci est situé dans la Vallée Village. Idéal après quelques heures de shopping. Il y a de tout… J’y ai mangé d’excellents wraps végétariens accompagnés d’un cookie triple choco divin(1,80 €).

I really like Pret when I’m in the UK, but since they’re everywhere, it’s hard to say that I _LOVE_Pret. However, here in Paris, having the opportunity to eat their fresh and yummy sandwiches and soup is quite heavenly. I went to Val d’europe/ La Vallee to do some Christmas shopping and I was looking forward to giving myself an excuse to eat at mcdonalds but the lines there were so insanely long that i just decided i’d forgo eating until lunch is over — that is until i saw the pret in the middle of la vallee village and my jaw dropped. I happily went inside and surveyed their selection — not a huge difference to the UK ones except they dont do combos(which is kinda surprising since the French love Formules). At any rate, that didn’t bother me, but I was curious as to whether or not they accepted Ticket Restaurant. ANDTHEYDID! I was so happy. I mean, a sandwich there is over 5EUR so this is great news! I got a christmas special sandwich with turkey and cranberry stuffing, and then a pork hock soup. OHMAN i cant even tell you how much i enjoyed my meal. I was alone and i was savouring every bite. Yes, it sounds a little crazy to love food at Pret THAT much — but if you’ve had enough of French sandwiches and veloute disguising as soup, these savoury saucy sandwich dressings loaded with meat and veggeies sitting between soft toasts… and the hearty soup brimming with ham and veggies, hot and flavourful… this is what lunch should be!
