Novotel Ury Fontainebleau

Chambres refaites dans l’esprit Accor, mais très bien fait, très fonctionnel avec un bureau pour travailler et une connexion wifi gratuite qui marche bien.
Situation étrange pour un hôtel de chaîné, en plein dans la forêt de Fontainebleau, mais vraiment agréable.
Restaurant simpliste, bon, sans plus, rien d’original ni de marquant.
Tarifs un peu élevés.

I never experienced any cancellation because of late arrivals.
The is located right in the middle of nowhere and surrounding by a fence It may appear as a prison from the outside, but once you have entered your room, you’ll feel very comfortable, because of its modern interieur.
The staff is not very personal but the breakfast is good compared to other french hotels.

Beware: if you don’t arrive before 18:00 the automated reservation system automatically cancels your reservation. Fortunately for us, at 22:30 the sensible receptionist saw the foolishness of this and re-​booked us in. With the hotel apparently ‘full up’ we could have been turned away. When we stayed, there were several families around (half term) and 3 possibly 4 corporate events happening, so the place must give value for money and /​or good location. Breakfast was good with a large buffet choice. A cold, damp October weekend may not have been the best time to visit but hotel was warm & staff friendly. Did not get a chance to use the pool, spa centre, volleyball court, bikes or tennis court. Would have preferred proper cotton duvet and pillow covers not sure what the fabric was but, together with its polystyrene contents, the pillow spent the night on the floor.
Not beautiful or architecturally inspiring. Functional and probably both made and maintained on a shoestring. This is apparent by the low budget building materials, furnishings and holes in exterior walls.
Wifi intermittent and only ‘free’ once you have given all your personal details to Orange.

A l’orée de la foret de Fontainebleau voila un beau Novotel. Si vous aimez dormir les fenêtres ouvertes c’est le bonheur seul les petits oiseaux peuvent vous réveiller.
Une belle piscine, un spa avec une carte de soins complète.
Des espaces verts sans limites, des installations sportives.
Voila une belle adresse pour un WE familiale dans la foret de Fontainebleau ou pour un séminaire avec beaucoup, beaucoup de participants.
Seul bémol encore et toujours la nourriture standardisée sans gout et sans originalité des Novotel.

Un bon hotel à proximité de Fontainebleau. L’hotel est propre calme et agréable, situé à la limite de la forêt. Le restaurant est bon. On apprécie particulièrement le spa, derrière l’hotel.

I’m a big fan of Novotels in general, they’re always comfortable, clean and great value for money. I am currently staying in the Ury Novotel branch located just outside of Fontainebleau and the free wifi is going down nicely. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of a beautiful Forest with great walking and cycling opportunities. The bar is well stocked and this is a great place to stop while traveling through France.

tres bon hotel situé dans un lieu tres calme. spa et piscine exterieure chauffée.bon resto et personnel sympa.
par contre, acces internet payant dans les chambres (4,5EUR/h)
