This place has a cozy and charming atmosphere and great food. Their fondue is top notch with good quality meat and nice sides. So why only 2 stars? Stunningly poor service that leaves you fighting for your basic needs, such as water or a relight of a temperamental fondue pot. There are many better restaurant choices available.

This is a great typical savoyard restaurant that doesn’t pretend too much but just gets it right.
The entrance is a small tunnel with wood all over and looks a little bit like a mine shaft. It makes the interior feel even more cosy and warm.
The menu is filled with the classic meat and cheese choices you would expect from that kind of place but they do it very well and with a light modern twist. In fact the fillet de boeuf I had was the best I have had this year… so far ;) It was incredibly tasty and cooked to perfection: it just melted in my mouth. And the wine list is filled with good vintages.
