San Francisco, CA
What a lovely restaurant just outside the Medieval/​historical district. The place is beautifully decorated with an outdoor terrace in the back with a beautiful view of the opposite Provençal hillside. Lots of locals and very few tourists. Or, at least, they were French tourists.
The food was excellent, with every dish beautifully presented and very tasty. I noticed that, for my American palette, the dishes were under salted, but they provided this wonderful herb salt with the main course that added a more luscious flavor to the steak I ordered. The avocado salad was simply amazing; the best dish I’ve had so far in France on this trip.
Service was a bit rushed as the server seemed somewhat impatient with our bad French, but I can understand as they seemed to be understaffed.
Bathrooms: very small, but beautifully decorated and very, very clean. I love the gold fish art piece and the bit of exposed stone wall. (See photos)
