This McDonald’s is super crowded because its close to Versailles and the train station. After you fight the crowds to the kiosk you can then place your order. You have an option to have the directions in English. Except when you select a payment method, it’s in French. So you randomly pick a payment option, not knowing what you selected. Ordering is pretty straight forward. You then wait until they call your number. Both times I went I had to wait an unusually long period of time for my food. The second time I was there they kept putting food I ordered on other people’s trays that had come in after me. When I pointed this out to them they told me that they would have to make more and I would have to wait. Both times I was there they got my order wrong. If you are a woman and need to use the restroom then you better be prepared for a long wait in a long line.

Ate lunch at this busy location. Self-service order kiosk did not function in English. Does not accept AmEx! Very crowded place during lunch.

As crazy as it sounds to go to a McDonald’s while in France, this one is fantastic and a GREAT option for a quick bite just before or just after riding the train! Lots of people, but lots of nice seating. Easy order worked great for us and saved about ten to fifteen minutes of dead line time. It is a little hectic like one of the reviewers said, but with a skosh of patience it worked really well for us. Everyone raves about the macaroons, and they’re great, but what we loved the most was the PETITESALADWITHVINAIGARETTEDRESSING! What a find, no stateside McD’s has anything like it. My nine year old son couldn’t get enough! We liked it so much we went again on the next visit to Versailles. One warning, buy your bottled water somewhere else — 2 Euro for a small bottle and 2.70 for the big bottle…

Great spot to grab an expresso or other beverage across from the train station. Fast service and free wifi. An expresso in 2013 cost 1.40 euros.

Best McDonalds I’ve ever been to! After a long but wonderful day in Versailles, we stopped and grabbed a few goodies before our train trek back to Paris. Ordered the baby macaron, brownie, expresso, strawberry shake, and a baguette. All were tasty and fresh! A place to relax, get free wifi, and it’s clean? Can’t beat that.

Rumor has it that the macarons at McDonald’s come from the same baby macaron making factory as Laduree! Truth or not, the macarons at McDonald’s are really good and cost just .80 Euro a pop. Why didn’t I buy six? What is wrong with me? The bathroom was really on my mind, not the macarons. This McDonald’s is right across from the train station. It’s the perfect pit stop before heading back to Paris. On Sundays, everything in the city is closed. But this McDonald’s was open and filled with locals, teenagers, and plenty of tourists tired from their day at the Palace. Please keep in mind that not all the employees here speak English(or speak English well). If you are afraid of being lost in translation you can use the electronic kiosks to order your food and just pick it up at the pickup line. We didn’t want to use our credit cards so we just went up to the counter. Granted, we ended up purchasing everything a la carte because of the language barrier but it wasn’t anything to fret about when your arguing over cents. The McCafe is at a different counter in the front. Don’t walk in and don’t walk out without buying a macaron, or two, or six! So yummy! And tiny! But amazing. I can’t stop bragging about how good the macarons at McDonald’s are. I don’t care if you take away my macaron credentials. As for the other food at McDonald’s, it was really interesting to see what they had to offer. They had some sandwiches, Le Casse Croute, that were on a baguette looking bread with an indent in the middle. It’s like two sandwiches in one. For the Pulp Fiction fans, you could get a royal cheese or for the same price a royal bacon. Jules and Vincent would be proud. We had the royal bacon with fries and a coke. McDonald’s burgers taste the same everywhere. Bland and limp. Oh but the fries, made up for it. Here they use garlic mayo for fries in addition to ketchup. Pommes frites sauce! Pommes frites sauce!

Highly probable that this is the best.mcdonalds.EVER! They had me at McCafe… Seriously, this was the first(and now, I’ve learned there’s others) McD’s that I’ve seen macarons inside. OMG!(Yes, I am a macaron junky!) As Sheila S had mentioned, this McD’s is literally right across the street from the train station. Although i’ve never previously dined in McD’s internationally, i’m finding them a very handy stop because of the free WiFi. So whenever I want to check my email or FB(or check-in on Unilocal!!) I’ll stop in a McD’s, and give them some business so I can use the WiFi(and take a rest-stop). I fell in love w this McD’s because I could order: a due espresso and macarons A 6-pack of macarons was 4.50EUR. Not bad… and they tasted pretty good. Clean interior considering how busy this place was. Well done McD’s, well done! A bien tot!

The McCafe inside this McDonald’s will impress you! They offer a variety of coffee and other drinks, as well as pastry treats at very affordable prices. We stopped on our way back from Versailles, before we got on the train to head back to Paris. We were very pleased with our coffee drinks and pastries and glad to sit and rest our feet after exploring the Versailles estate.

If only McDonalds everywhere were more like this location. We stopped in at the McCafe on a cold morning for a coffee and a sweet. The lattes we had were excellent — perfectly prepared and tasty. The pastries were great as well. Of particular note was the lemon tart I had, which was completely amazing. Great service as well. This is what all McDonalds should aspire to be.

Who knew Macroons at a McCafe would be more than just edible? We decided to walk into McDonald’s after leaving Versaille, as my friend decided he had to try a Big Mac in France.(I heard the Big Mac sauce was awful) The colorful chairs, different styles of seating, and touch-screen self ordering system makes our McDonalds look outdated. Though I’m very against visiting Mc’Ds while in a country known for good food… I decided to take a look at the McCafe. To my delight, they had a good selection of French sweets to choose from — the sweet bread was a bit stale but satisfying, the macroons were slightly chewy from being taken out of the fridge(nontheless still beating the majority of macroons I’ve had in the states), and their hot cocoa was served American style.(very watered down, not thick and creamy) Not too bad given where we were. Their coconut macroon though, that was a macroon worth noting. Delicious and memorable — I would’ve never expected from a McCafe!
