O’Bottega

If you’re hungry from a whole day of exploring Versailles like we were and are looking for a good place to eat. You must come to this cozy pizza place and bring your choice wine (it’s allowed). Friendly and very welcoming service, great GREAT & super flavorful food, and it was the cleanest bathroom I’ve been in. Overall the BEST pizza I’ve had!!!

O’Bottega is amazing! Probably the best pizza I’ve ever had – and I’ve had A LOT of pizza.
The crust is light and crisp, but with a little bit of dough, chewy-​ness. Everything is fresh and handmade. I had the most popular, according to the owner, the O’Bottega. Ingredients: Sauce, fresh buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, cherry tomatoes and balsamic drizzle. It was superb! I also had a slice of my friend’s pie – the Oriental. Ingredients: sauce, sausage, sweet peppers, goat cheese, grilled onion and an egg. This one was also amazing.
The staff was super friendly and helpful (even though half of us did not speak French). The ambiance was really cute and fresh – nicely decorated, and the bathrooms were some of the cleanest I’ve seen all over France!
They do not serve alcohol, but the owner pointed us to the corner store and let us open a bottle of wine for our meal.
It was wonderful and very inexpensive for the caliber of food and ambiance it provided! A must stop if you are ever in Versailles.
