I was in a group of four cycling the green lanes on a self guided tour in Normandy. This happened to be one of our hotel stops. We were pleasantly surprised to find an attached bar, full coffee service, and breakfast area in addition to the hotel. We arrived late in the day after a grueling day of biking. The owner was very welcoming and nice. At about seven pm our group went out in search of a restaurant only to find nothing open due to holiday. The hotel owner heard about our dilemma and out of great kindness, fed us food from her own freezer and beer from her bar. The hotel is not the fanciest but the customer service is the best!
