Calvey’s is a pleasant enough spot, on the main road in Keel opposite the entrance to the camp site. The menu had a good selection of sea food and meat, and the meal was accompanied by a conversational atmosphere. It’s a place worth checking out, but the menu is more expensive than most on the island.

Keel is a quiet little village so it was nice to have a spot like this near where we were staying. It’s a pleasant, family-friendly, nominally Italian restaurant. The service was attentive, the food was okay. The price was a little higher than expected, but it wasn’t extortionate either. If you’re looking for a bite to eat, you could do worse.
