Best hot chocolate in town & cheapest but the most expensive pint but who actually cares. The staff are quite nice some actually pretty great and helpful. They carry the best selection of liquor in Athy and serve it the correct way. A flaming sambucca actually comes in a glass shot glass with coffee beans and flaming as opposed to the rubbish night life attempt across the road which you should avoid at all costs «The Castle Inn» served it in a plastic glass and charged double the normal price. The Guinness is very decent and the staff know how to pour it more importantly. Its located in the center of town walkable to everywhere so its convenient and opens in the day showing games, races and sporting events in general.
Great spot, probably the most popular in town with the young people and regulars who have been loyal for years.
