Fabulous food. We came here before a gaelic match las sunday, hungry and looking for a feed :-). We were not disappointed. I got the bacon cheese burger, gravy and stuffing with mash potatoes, green beans and carrots. The burger was huge and had a nice thick piece of bacon and melted cheese on both sides. This was served with I must say the best stuffing I have ever tasted and the mash was so good. When I’m back in Cork I will be visiting again. Service was prompt and polite. The price was reasonable of under 13 euro.

I ate here yesterday(a Sunday) for lunch with my family and we were very happy with it. On Sundays(and maybe during the week too), it is apparently always busy and as it was a bit quiet yesterday we were lucky to get a table for 4 at 1 pm. I had a starter of duck spring rolls(served with salad), which were delicious. They didn’t skimp on the duck. My main was a chicken goujon wrap(served with salad and chips), which, again, was delicious and very filling. I unfortunately couldn’t even finish my chips or the salad and none of us had space for dessert. The others had a smoked salmon and chicken vol au vents(both starters) and tuna steak and chicken goujons. They were all very nice. Other starters on the menu included garlic mushrooms, soup, and prawn cocktail. Mains included beefburgers, goat’s cheese tartlets, lasagne, fish and roast meats. Ah, just noticed that they have menus on their website: Starters ranged in price from € 4 to € 6. Mains were about € 11 to about € 15, more for a steak. For the 4 of us, sharing a bottle of white wine, it came to just over € 80. Service was nice and friendly.
