Perhaps my most memorable stop in a wonderful trip to Ireland. I don’t think that I’ll ever forget the night my buddy and I went behind the bar and served locals pints of Guinness.

Best pub we visited during our trip to Ireland. Sean, the owner and barman made us feel at home and spent hours chatting with us and giving us advice on travel, whiskey and anything else. He offered many tastes and suggestions and charged only for the ones we went with. Was a great gent and made our night!

The traditional white-​washed irish cottage exterior and river-​side setting alone is reason enough to make this off-​the-​beaten-​path journey. But take the time to go inside this wonderful cozy pub that is clearly loved by its locals. One visit and you’ll understand why.
Lucky for me, I get to visit Ireland every year and with each new adventure I seek country pubs steeped with history and charm. Serving the prerequisite perfect pint of Guinness, Fishermans was this years winner!
Extensive selection of drinks, enough snacks/​light food options to keep you nourished, and a friendly atmosphere that will make you want to linger.
