Great rooms and service. Staff are friendly. Nice big breakfast. And convenient restaurant located downstairs. Best place to stay in Baltimore. We had a great time.

After a slightly creepy night in an ever so slightly creepy B&B, we decided to ditch the flowery duvet and get ourselves to a hotel instead. It turned out that Casey’s cost us nearly the same price as the B&B, but what a helluva difference it made. For € 40 pp, we got a really lovely room, with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in, looaads of room, and two walls of windows overlooking the sea and the picturesque ship wreck that still sticks half out of the water. Breakfast was also included which was HUGE. I honestly couldn’t manage it all — this alone would have been worth the forty. A fairly big continental spread, as well as a huuuge cooked breakfast with the ultra tasty Clonakilty pudding, and Casey’s own brown bread. It was so good, I took a loaf home for myself. The staff were all very nice — perhaps a little casual /laid back, but I don’t see that as a bad thing in a little country hotel like this. I would highly recommend Casey’s for anyone who’s going to visit this beautiful part of the world.

This hotel restaurant was recommended to us for its seafood. We felt slightly underwhelmed by the quality of their cooking, apart from the scallops which were to die for, both fish and seafood were overcooked or just not cooked the right way. I liked the variety of vegetables but the house wines were inappropriate(actually we realised their french ½ bottle in red is WAY nicer than the house wine, less booze but really nicer taste at a cheaper price). Service by various member of staff was… awkward, almost like they’re not used to serve in a formal way. We had to come back to give them a 2nd chance and this time we took the steak which was amazing. Overall food is pretty overpriced and food of quite inconsistant quality

Lovely spot, friendly staff, nice food in the restaurant. Very enjoyable stay in a small cosy 3-star hotel. Great Views out the back too.

Didn’t stay in the hotel but had a fantastic meal in the restaurant. The views are unforgettable, overlooking the inlet and green hills in the distance(and from certain seats you can see the ruins of an old church). I was with a large party and the service was quite efficient. I’m not usually a fan of mushrooms, but shared a very tasty starter of mushrooms sauteed in a savory wine sauce. The blackened sole was some of the best fish I’ve ever eaten, simply topped with butter and pepper. And the Chocolate Glory lived up to its name — a chocolate cake with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and mint leaves. Fantastic! It was well worth the beautiful drive down to Baltimore.
