If you are in the market for affordable Laminate Flooring or Carpets and Vinyl look no further than Bargaintown. This Dublin company are 50 years in the business and for good reason. They have seven stores and are open seven days a week. They recently fitted out«Googles» offices on Barrow Street. I have had to re-write my review after I felt the service I received from them fell below the standards I expected from such a reputable company. So I complained. Unlike other larger retailers I was not fobbed off with a call centre nor did I have to wait several weeks on a reply. The response was immediate. I received a call from its head office who listened to my complaint and offered to inspect the works carried out. They called out to inspect the work and said they would be in touch. The next day we received another call asking that the manager of the store where the goods where purchased be allowed look at the finished works. This personal touch and attention to detail, and willingness to rectify the situation is commendable. The complaint was dealt with in a timely manner and we where satisfied we the result. I would like to thank Norman(Queen Street) and Martin(Coolock) for their assistance. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bargaintown(any of its branches) to Unilocal reviewers as they have shown that they value the customer and that the customer is always right. But mostly I must commend them on LISTENING. Its refreshing to know that this company are willing to put their reputation before profit when it comes to customer care and satisfaction. If you are thinking of Flooring or Furniture look no further than Bargaintown. They also offer a fitting and measuring service for Apartments. They’re also are very competitive and there is always a bargain to be had ;-))
