Simply the best! You must stop in. I had the best seafood chowder I have ever eaten and the shepherds pie was great as well. John Kelly is lot's of fun. I learned how to craft a perfect Guinness which I needed after being co-pilot for my husband on the narrow roads! When in Birr, John Kelly's is a must!

If there was room for 10 stars, I ‘d give them that. Place is so warm and inviting, and the food is incredibly good. If you’re the adventurous type, I suggest trying shots of Baby Guinness, and Tequila Rose. Everyone in the place is so friendly, and if you’re lucky, you’ll be there for the random break out of song.

This bar was packed in the middle of a Wednesday afternoon! The Guinness was delicious! Honestly, it was tough to find a place that did not have delicious Guinness. The Irish are spoiled rotten with the deliciousness of that beer.
Stopped in here after exploring a lot of the middle counties with my dad and uncle. Solid choice for a afternoon pint.
