Blackrock Library

This library was all renewed in 2014 and it is now a really nice place for reading and pick up book. Internet is available in all areas, as long as you have a library card.
They have a good selection of books, but most of then fictional — good anyway, if you feel like reading a romance. It is also possible to print and scanner there. The reading areas is large and silent, a definite good spot to spend time at.

It took me a while to realize this Library existed, its tucked away just outside the main village but I was very pleased when I finally discovered it. There has been minor construction going on for a while with plans to extend the Library and make it better, but it has not disrupted it too much. The opening hours are a little tricky, but you can always ring them up or check online for opening hours.
The best thing about Blackrock Library is they have an amazing selection of films and cds. And they dont limit it to 3 cds/​films like some other Librarys do.
The Library itself is not the biggest, but they do have decent books and a couple of computers with interenet, as well as free wifi. Its normally quiet enough inside and the staff are cool people.
