Cloney Audio

Dublin is fairly devoid of high-​end audio shops, but Cloney Audio more than makes up for it. The staff are incredibly helpful and laid back and will happily let you try out components for hours on end. Even better, they are great suggesting equipment that works well together for a given budget. I came out having heard speakers and audio equipment from brands I never knew existed, and subsequently bought a very nice Naim UnitiQute2 from them. They have great ex-​demo deals with good discounts. I’d highly recommend them and will be going there again very soon.

If you are going to purchase high end audio equipment, there is simply no better place to go than Cloney Audio. They provide a quality, friendly service to those that are serious about sound.
The shop is located in a little house off the main centre of Blackrock. You need to ring the bell to get access and from the word go you will be greeted with a friendly face who will answer any and every question you have. The shop is essentially like being in an episode of Cribs. wall to wall sound systems and speakers that would wake the dead. You will feel at home here, the staff never seem too pushy and never seem to expect you to buy anything…
Best value for money here too– i purchased 2×5 metres of speaker cable, the nice man gave me nearly 4 extra metres at a lower price than marked.
If you have the cash they will also design a system for your home and fit it too. these guys are the elite of sound in Dublin and probably Ireland too. can’t fault them in any way!
