A lovely, community shop. They stock a wide range of high quality foods and have an excellent selection of meat and cheeses. It can be quite expensive however. Definitely not somewhere I would consider doing a full weekly shop in.

I really, really enjoy doing my shop at SuperValu. The quality of produce, meat and fish at this store is beyond any of the other supermarkets in the area(I’m looking at you Tesco). The butchers are always ready to help select a good steak. The cheese monger has also been very helpful when asked to pair cheese. I am looking forward to trying their new craft beer tap. Keep up the excellent work SuperValu!!!

I really like this Supervalu. They have it done up very well and it has a great selection of everything you need. They do really good dinners here which they make up fresh and you merely take home and cook for about € 6 which are brilliant. I often stop in for lunch as they also have a good deli and do fresh sandwiches. The only issue I have is during the week you get a lot of elderly shopping here around lunchtime which makes getting in and out quickly quite difficult.

That’s a small supervalu close to Stillorgan rd. They are small but the have(almost) everything. But their Deli is amazing. I really like the pies they have there. The guys who work there seem always happy and I have this impression that supervalu might be a good place to work(?) just wondering. There is always something on offer at the sweets section.

I like this local grocery store. Even though it is small it has everything you get in a regular Supervalu because they pack it in tight. Because it is small the aisles can be difficult to navigate so you have to be patient weaving your trolley through. The staff do their best if you ask for products you don’t see on the shelves. A lot of the staff are young local people which is great to see. I dropped one star because of the size but otherwise great place to shop for food.

This is a really strange location, but it’s fairly convenient if you live on the UCD campus. It’s bigger than you’d think, and they pack a lot of stuff in there. The food isn’t of the greatest quality, and it’s not terribly cheap compared to my expectations of a place called Supervalu. Also, I’ve had a couple items that are past their due date. That’s my fault for not checking before buying, but it’s equally theirs for not rotating the stock well. The quarters are extremely tight and I always feel like I’m in the way. They seem to always be stocking shelves and the aisles are often blocked. The place also feels dark and dingy, so there’s that.

All I can say is I hate this particular store! It is so small and confusing! The first time I went to shop there I wasn’t even sure which door was the entrance. I know now it doesn’t matter. So I decided to gather my thoughts before trying to figure out again the correct door to enter and spare me looking like an idiot standing there looking so very confused. Im not a bimbo but this store seems to bring it out in me! Anyway I as I reached for my trolly I got my usual volt of static electricity from it. As I recoiled my arm in shock looking like a Harry Potter fan trying to do a magic trick I knew I could forget my street cred and off I went to explore the store! The aisles are so small and narrow two trollies can not pass buy each other without one person having to reverse or push themselves against the shelves whilst trying not to let the contents fall to the ground. I have shopped here about three times but each time it is the same I park my trolly in some corner of the shop and walk around helplessly with my super valu brochure in my hand searching for the the items I want. Yesterday I just couldn’t get it together I end up having to ask whom I guess was the manager to direct me to nearly every thing I wanted from the brochure! I was was like a mute cavewoman pointing to the pictures in the brochure. I was directed swiftly to the area where each item was, and then I would point again and be swiftly directed again. I am normally OK at shopping and finding products but this shop is just pretty frustrating! Ok to the good points — the staff are very friendly and helpful and there are some good deals in store. Also you dont need a coin for the trolly!
