Delighted to taste the quality Butler’s Pantry this morning. A heart warming coffee that fulfilled my Butler’s expectations. Topped off with a chocolate chip cookie that was just scrumptious, made the prospect of another study period that much more bare-able. Cordial staff, delightful.

This place is great. I think of it like a great restaurant but you have to heat it yourselves. Everyone loves the food, the only advice I can give someone is don’t go in here hungry because you will want to get everything and that could hurt the bank balance. Generally I have found the staff to be more than pleasant.

It is almost impossible to walk past the Butlers Pantry without being lured in by the buttery, sugary smells wafting out through the front door. The counter is laden with apple pies and muffins, fresh flakey croissants with the gooey almond filling, and giant chocolate chip cookies that are chewy in the middle. The fridges have strawberry, lemon and Baileys cheesecakes, chocolate fudge cakes and cream sponges. The selection is rather small, which means everything is baked fresh every day. They make to order if you want something particular, a giant cake for a special occasion for example. The prices are quite high, but the ingredients and recipes are top quality. Treats like this are worth the splurge.
