Food is still tasty but remains some lacks such as long delivery time and too much waiting before you can actually make your order. This, when there are just 3 tables in total to manage. Again, it is a pity that such one of the biggest pubs in the area doesn’t cope well.

Came here a few days ago for a work event. Its pretty big and has a nice atmosphere – although maybe that would be different if I was not there for a work event! Drinks are pretty cheap and the music was good.

The Bell, The Bell. I spent many nights at this place for some great craic. Love their fish n chips, and their Guinness was some of my favourite in all of Dublin. Fair priced as well. This is the perfect ‘local’ to go to after work or to watch the game. The crowd is fairly mixed, though it is most appealing those living in Blanch or Castleknock right off the 38/39a bus route. They remain open until they kick out the last knacked customer out of the place which is no later than 1am. IF you want good a time, but a fairly easy going night to relax, this is for you. Don’t expect people to be dressed for the city centre to be in here. Very casual environment and low key.

A rather capacious local boozer — famous with the locals in Blanchardstown, but also an after-work-drinks-stable for people from the nearby shopping centre and all the corporate parks around Dublin 15. Basic but simple grub is served as well.

Ah, the iconic Bell pub– well iconic for Blanchardstown because every set of directions you’ll get will start with ‘You know the Bell pub? Turn left/right there…’ The Bell is especially popular during the summer months because they have a large outdoor seating area, but even in winter it’s usually hopping. And it’s easy to see why: the staff are great, there is a good mix of locals and strangers and the place is big enough so it never seems crowded. It’s also right on the 39⁄38 bus routes so it’s handy if you want to head into town after.
