Went here for a family dinner night with some family friends. We got the Makhani chicken curry which is a butter and cream chicken dish(always a fail-safe favourite of mine), a chilli chicken dish — for the real heat and two biryanis — chicken and lamb. Contrary to popular opinion on the night, both biryanis weren’t the same with just a different meat. Each had its own distinct flavour, both were lovely. The naan bread was lovely and fresh, the poppadum starters with the mango chutney and onion were nice too, and the kids ordered pizzas and spaghetti which weren’t bad at all. The food is authentic, and the portions were fine for 6 adults and 3 kids. They only had ice-cream for dessert, which I think is a bit of a cop-out for an Indian restaurant. Where’s the kulfi and the kheer?!
