The Dinn Rí is a great pub that is right in the centre of Carlow town. I remember when it was constructed and the size of the building it’s in was pretty dominating for the surrounding area. I’ve often watched a football or rugby game here and it’s in the perfect location if you’re looking for a break from a day of shopping.
One of the most striking things about the bar is the amount of wood that was used in the construction (you could be forgiven for thinking that you’re in the middle of a log cabin). Here’s to the next time I’m in the Dinn Rí watching a game.
