my wife and i live near carrick and frequent ‘the bush’ on a regular basis for lunch — primarily because it is one of the best lunches in the locality — excellent fare at reasonable prices and always served with a smile and a banter from the staff
in addition we are always made to feel welcome by the owner joe and indeed his family
on the one occasion we had a minor complaint on the following visit our bill was reduced
but more than anything the bush was straight out of the starting blocks when implementing the vat reduction which is more than can be said about some other places around town

Traditional Town Centre Hotel.
Some of the hotel and rooms are now getting very dated but the helpful staff make up for this. All except for the Joe the owner who on a bad day is not good for business.
Nice conference room which I have used for both public and private meeting.
Food is average. Helpful staff as I have already said are what keeps the Bush in business.

A very «green» hotel and seems very proud of the fact. Another plus point.
