A couple of years ago we were staying at the lighthouse SW of Clonakilty for the week. While we would do daily excursions, a great deal of time was spent enjoying the tranquility of the area. This was perfect for my Mom and I, but was less than favorable to my 17 year old son. I needed a diversion for him so while we were in town (Clonakilty) I checked into Kerr’s for a recommendation. I believe they selected the perfect book, the first book in Michael Scott’s The Magician series. At that point he had only written the first one but I liked the idea that it was the first in a trilogy (went on to be 5 books in the series) and that Michael Scott is a native of Ireland, tying it all together nicely. Thank you Kerr’s. It is little bookstores like yours that make the act of buying, not just reading books, a pleasure.
