OMG — after a long day getting out of Dublin and heading down to Kinsale it was looking like we were going to have to skip lunch when we saw this restaurant and pub from the roadway. The pub side sounded like everyone was having a great time in the middle of the afternoon. On the restauraunt side we ordered the bacon and cabbage lunch special. Thick slices of what we’d call ham and cooked cabbage and mashed potatoes and carrots. The food in Dublin was good but this was better than either of the $ 50 plus meals we had there. Clonmel might not be on your way in Ireland — but if it is — you gotta try this place!
