A quiet little restaurant located on the outskirts of the town it had a lot of charm and appeal. The first issue I had was the menu was completely different to what they had online which is extremely annoying as you build up a picture of what you are going to eat and look forward to it. The food was pretty poor, overcooked vegetables, chips that were more like oven cooked wedges and my beer battered fish had the appearance of something you would pull out of a box from the frozen food aisle. Having worked as a chef in an award winning seafood restaurant I felt embarrassed for the owner that she thought it was acceptable. The restaurant states on their Facebook page to be an «Irish Restaurant», serving home cooked Irish food but their menu has a mixture of Italian, Indian, British and a couple of Irish dishes. The food was of pretty low standard and some might find this acceptable; for me it was just not acceptable to serve such poor quality food.
