Awear was never one of my favourite shops until recently but they have really stepped up their game and I now stock up on their gorgeous dresses every time I visit home. The«Closet» range they sell is all lovely and I just love the fit of their clothes and the fact that it’s Irish owned. It’s nicely laid out and has great sales.

I love awear even though it is a bit expensive. It is great for your staples that you know you will end up wearing a lot. But other then that wait for the sales because you will always find something interesting. Their assessories are beautiful and coats and right on trend all the time. I have found the staff is helpful and have helped me find things in the back if i ask them to. They have recently started stocking the make up rage Gosh which has a great range of colors that many lines will not put out. Overall i really really love awear :)

Awear — I don’t know why I love you, but I do! Among some of the hugely overpriced tat in this place, you can always find a gem. The accessories are bang on, and the range of outerwear(especially in the past couple of A/W seasons) has been spot-on. I’m deducting a star for customer service. Your return policy sucks, and your some of your staff are kind of crappy and rude.

One of the most difficult wardrobe transitions to be made is during one’s final years in university and first years in the business world. For most young people at this time, there comes a realisation shortly before graduation that this event will require a smartening-up of one’s style and image, and Corkonians are lucky in this regard to be blessed with A-Wear to ease them through those tumultous style times. A-Wear, with its youthful, urban collection of predominantly smart-casual clothing is perhaps a little too formal for your first university years, but for style-conscious final years, or newly-jobbed graduates, it’s the perfect blend of conventional officewear and individuality to look like you’ve made an effort, but are not yet part of the uniformed wage slave brigade. The cost of their clothing, reflecting their quality, might price them out of the market of younger students, but is just accessible to those in graduate positions, and it’s one of the best places to go in the city for your first suit.
