Bella Cafe

This is a fine little café /​restaurant located on the Main Street in mallow. I have come here lots of times either for lunch or dinner and it has never disappointed.
Fine Italian lunch menu, homemade pizza, lasagne, spag Bol and a variety of other pasta dishes. I usually go for either the lasagna or chicken salad and my husband for the home made pizza .
Portion sizes are massive, I never finish the whole dish and there is a BYO wine policy and no corkage charge! Ideal for groups and I notice a lot of birthday party dinners and parties going on .
I took one star off and the reason being is that when you order a mineral (like club orange etc) they pour it out of a large bottle into a glass. This reminds me of when I was a small girl and if I went out with my parents to the pub and instead of forking out on a bottle of coke for me, they would buy a big bottle of TK lemonade and get two glasses for myself and my brother and that would have to do us for the night. For that memory alone I deducted one star!

Very sweet little restaurant. Boyfriend and I split the chicken wings for starters, then he had the lasagne and I had the tagliatelle bellazza. My tagliatelle was incredible. Chicken wings could have used a little punching up, but nice all the same. The lasagne was nice but also could have used some garlic or salt for my tastes. Will definitely go again!
