I know these are strong words, but this is the best coffee that we had during our whole tour of Ireland. Upon entering the market, I recommend going straight to Coffee Central and grabbing a delicious coffee to sip during your stroll around all of the artisan shops. Trust me, you’ll be so delighted with your cup full o happy juice. Despite only having 4 hours to explore the market, we had to make 2 stops because the coffee is so amazing. We are both quite picky on what we consider good coffee, so for us to both agree this really must be outstanding quality.

Tasty java. Not my favorite, but the best I’ve had in Ireland.

Coffee central has some of the best tasting coffee in Cork. It’s also in a great location, in the center of the English Market. So if you need a caffeine boost to get through your shopping, this is it. They do some good fresh pastries(the chocolate brownie is especially great), and Italian sodas if coffee isn’t your thing. A small warning: on a busy day, it’s not really a good place to sit and sip, since the foot-traffic through the market is a little hectic.

What can I say, simply the best coffee in the whole city… Everywhere else is second best!
