I used to build model tanks as a boy. It was a hobby I really enjoyed, although some of the model tanks would be quite frustrating — especially if you had to glue together the tank treads piece-by-piece. I’m sure some model tank designer got some sadistic pleasure out of lads like myself getting glue everywhere trying to fit together those treads, but I digress.
The models have certainly come a long way from what I remember. This place had everything, such as a Doctor Who Tardis, tractors, WWII dioramas, planes, tanks, and automobiles.
The man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. Certainly the shop to visit if I ever scavenge time to resume such a hobby.
