I needed directions to the Cork depot of one of the leading international courier companies. Because this company uses a call centre on another continent, I wasn’t able to get from the representative there either the specific advice I was looking for or a local telephone number.
I rang MBE, whose Golden Pages ad. mentions the courier in question, and got full, concise instructions, and some sympathy for my complaint with the international firm besides.
I’ll certainly bear them in mind in future on the strength of this generosity. (Don’t know about the international concern, though.)
