A nice little chippy! (British noun for «fish ‘n chip shop).
We took a nice little drive from Cork to Crosshaven for an afternoon… a charming little place, the sun shining, right on the water, cute shops and pubs. And then it began to pour heavily for several hours.
In need of a meal (pubs overfloweth during the storms and we had a pram with us), we ducked into Chish N Fips and enjoyed our meals under an umbrella with a few other people caught in the downpour.
In more ideal conditions this would be a wonderful spot to takeaway, sit in the grass nearby and enjoy the area.
But, even in the rain it hit the spot!
