Jack the bartender is awesome! We got here late at night on a Monday and all the local restaurants were closed. so, we got some local take away and came in here and ordered drinks and watched sports! We will miss Donegal

Stopped in Donegal for a quick lunch and Dom’s Pier 1 was right next to the car park. My wife and I didn’t have the highest of expectations for a quick bite, but were truly impressed with the quality of the lunch served around 3pm. The butternut squash soup was delicious and paired with a scrumptious BLT sandwich and served with a flair of color on the plate. My dish was a smoked salmon and shrimp wrap which was the tastiest lunch during my entire week in Ireland. A pint of Guinness to go along with and we had a wonderful afternoon thereafter despite the drizzling rain. Compliments to the pub chef.

Food is well cooked and presented but all very bland. I think a little bit of seasoning would fix it right up. Also i had a potato overdose with my salmon.

This pub is located right on the main street of The Diamond in Donegal. There were plenty of televisions to catch a football or rugby game on and plenty of selections of beer on tap. We came here for a lunch, and both my husband and I had the chicken goujons(aka«chicken strips») with chips. He stated these were the tastiest chicken strips he has ever eaten, so that has got to say something because he never makes absolutely statements like that.
