Not the highest peak to climb in Ireland but an impressive one! This was one of the first ones I climbed. Different routes can be taken according to experience so make sure you plan and seek advice before going to the top. #Keep’erLit

Fantastic place to see. You can’t believe how the mountain rises out of nothing. It looks like a magical place — something from a lost world.

Errigal is one of, if not the most claimed mountain in County Donegal. The mountain looks like it’s volcanic but it is actually quartzite. Stunning views from the top if you’re lucky enough to ascend it on a clear day.

Mount Errigal stands proudly towering over its sisters that form The Derryveagh Mountain Range, which is close to Letterkenny in County Donegal. She is a splendiforous site to behold, standing 2466 feet high and adding to the drama and beauty of restorative lands, beaches, lakes and mountains that are common to this handsome Kingdom of Donegal. Whilst holidaying with my daughter here I was reminded of an old movie called«The Fighting Prince of Donegal», which starred a very young and handsome Peter McInnery! It really puts one’s whole life into perspective when one has the space and time to just behold and gaze in awe at the miracle of nature in all its fabulous wonder! Oh! To be able to live and work there! One day perhaps! Stunning scenery everywhere I looked! Thank you Ireland!
