Twenty Two

I was there a month ago and I believe its just reopened. I love the décor and I’m guessing Kirsten Dunst would be quite impressed with the pictures on the wall. The décor is different to that on the website and its much nicer, a warmer feeling. I loved the live music, classical piano playing coming out of the corner, it was so good my friend thought it was a great music system. Yes, she had been on the wine:) The menu is on a black board to your right once you enter the restaurant. Small menu but that’s great. If your trying to stay off carbs your going to have some difficulty as its potatoes, pasta etc All main courses were ten euro, and a carafe of wine was ten euro also. It was great I loved it. I will definitely go back on my next visit to Killybegs. The staff are great also. Friendly and helpful. What more could you want.
I must add as I’m so impressed with this. I returned to Donegal about 3 weeks after I wrote this review and went into the restaurant quite last to meet some friends. I’m not a local at all so the waitress remembered me, and the minute I walked in she came up to me and thanked me for the nice review. WOW. I’m even more of a fan, the service is great. The chat and banter you used to get all over Ireland is still here. I really recommend this place for the overall good experience. They genuinely appreciate you spending your hard earned money here. Such a nice change.
