My second visit, and there will be lots more in the future. Great set up, great food, gluten free, great owner. Top class and worth the drive.

Cozy friendly little café with good value and good quality food. They have indoor and outdoor seating, so you can take your pick. We stopped in quite late in the afternoon after returning from the Aran Islands. It was a freezing blustery day, so we were hungry and cold, but also feeling a little motion sick from the rough ferry ride so we weren’t sure what we could actually stomach. They still had soup left(thank goodness) — a lovely homemade tomato basil soup that was warm and comforting without being heavy. A steaming bowl of the soup with some nice brown bread was exactly what we needed to revive us. They also have a selection of salads, sausage rolls and sandwiches. All their baked goodies looked delicious as well, so we got some brownies for the road… they were super moist and decadent! I have nothing bad to say about this adorable café!

This place is the reason I fell in love with brunch. They do a fantastic Veggie breakfast — one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s got poached eggs, two kinds of home made toast, sweet grilled cherry tomato, roasted peppers, grilled halloumi and home made pesto, fried onions, fried potatoes and home-made baked beans. Phew! It’s enormous and AMAZING. They also do lovely silver dollar pancakes with maple syrup, and some great looking other dishes. They do fabulous coffee & lovely freshly squeezed juices and morning cocktails. Their Berocca Sunrise will sort you right out ;) Not to be missed, seriously!

Whoa! I’m so happy that I stumbled upon this café! I was at the awkward point of the day where I didn’t have lunch, but was too hungry to wait for dinner. Considering how Doolin is so small, I’m not sure why my hostel didn’t know much about the Doolin Café, but I think everyone should know about it! I got a panini and it was delicious! The baked goods inside the case looked scrumptious as well. Such a clean and cute café, if I had stayed in Doolin longer, I would’ve made another visit for sure. Prices are very reasonable, I found that the the food at the surrounding restaurants/pubs were overpriced so this was a pleasant surprise.

I used to live over this side of the country and this was my favourite breakfast spot. It’s a quirky little spot with lovely staff who are always friendly. The food is fantastic; from delicious silver dollar pancakes to their«Great Breakfast» which is truly great. The breakfast is simple but has some of the best sausages, puddings and bacon. I have not had the inclination to head back out wast for a long time but thinking about this place’s breakfast makes me want to hop in the car and drive for 3 hours.

Mitten im Nirgendwo befindet sich dieses kleine Café dass man nicht verpassen sollte wenn man auf der Durchreise ist und was leckeres Essen möchte. Vieles ist selber hergestellt und wird auf der Speisekarte entsprechend ausgewiesen. Zu Essen gibts super leckere Sandwiches, Burger, Salate, kleine Pizzen etc. Auch die Desserts und Kaffees sind ausgesprochen lecker. Ich hatte das Eton Mess und fand das so gut dass ich das jeden Tag essen könnte :) Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufgestellt. Die Atmosphäre ist richtig cool! Das Lokal ist nett eingerichtet und hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme. Dazu kommt dann eben noch dass es sich mitten im Nirgendwo befindet.

Perfectly prepared dishes — each with a unique twist. Real molasses in the beans, balsamic-poached tomatoes. We had a wonderful dinner and returned the next morning for an equally perfect breakfast. Great ambiance and service as well — the one person handling all 8 tables somehow manages to keep everything flowing. Best meals we had over 2 weeks in Ireland.
