Sea View House

Simply Fabulous! It’s in the perfect location! It’s got a great view. Darra is perfection! She thinks about every detail to make your stay wonderful. There are fresh flowers in the house that smell amazing! The breakfast was the best we had during our week in Ireland. Highly recommend this great place! If you go, please tell Lucy the dog I said hi!

My stay at the Sea View House in Doolin far exceeded my expectations. The entire house was decorated very lovingly, with family pictures in many of the common rooms. The guest rooms were immaculate and very spacious. We even had a view of the ocean from our room, true to name. :) The B&B is located just above the main street of Doolin, very close to Gus O’Connors.
The guest lounge had a few books on history of the area. There were a few bottles of wine available for purchase on the honor system, which was a nice touch if you wanted to take it along on an evening stroll along the beach.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with most of the ingredients coming out of the kitchen garden. My hubby even had a choice of duck or chicken eggs from the family’s own birds!

We had a. very good time at the Seaview! The coosy atmosphere makes us feel like beeing part of the family. Good rooms, good beds, good bathrooms, good public rooms, The breakfast was excellent. During the night you only hear the wind around the house. If it would be closer to the rest of the world we would come more often.

Seaview is in a brilliant location within easy staggering distance of O’Connors with views down the river to the ocean and around and over the village of Doolin.
We arrived on a windswept day and the guest lounge with its open fire and big picture window was perfect and the decking looked ideal for the warmer weather. We were given a warm welcome accompanied a tray of tea and biscuits.
The rooms have just been updated (and they are stylish and very comfortable. The flat screen TV receives many channels including CNN and BBC, there’s a kettle and tea/​coffee facilities in the top drawer.
Breakfast was delicious and there was a good choice of hot food — french toast, fruit platters, full irish, etc. The home made bread is well worth a try.
Seaview is the sort of place that leaves you scratching your head to see where things could be improved because they seem to have already thought of everything and done it. It’s a friendly family home and you feel truly welcome.
Will definitely stay there when returning to Doolin, many thanks to Darra and the family.
