Idyllic, warm, friendly and tasty!
Had lunch today with wife and two five year olds and wasn’t let down! Met by friendly staff, even chef popped out to say hello!
It’s a bright and airy fun family spot with a playground out front and the ocean at your back, all the décor is yellow and red and easy on the eye.
Straight away the kids were informed about the Skids which is little vouchers they get for behaving, choosing healthy and clearing their plate and can be redeemed against little trinkets on leaving. Genius!
I went for a steak sandwich, the usual on ciabatta with fried onions but bit in and met with the delicious flavour of garlic instead of the usual horseradish! It was very tasty and tender and the menu tells you where the cow took his last dump, I was very impressed. She went for homemade broccoli soup and fresh soda bread, and it too was delish! Kids went for hot dogs but hot dogs are hot dogs and don’t require review.
All in all a lovely spot for lunch

What a delightful surprise! My friend and I were staying up the road from Stonecutters all week and our children (5 between us) kept begging to go because of the play equipment on the lawn but it never fit into our schedule. On the last day we went for dinner and were so pleasantly surprised to see a lovely, warm, and inviting ambiance when we walked in. I wish we had gone sooner! I had the mussels and baked goat cheese salad and it was perfect! My friend had the seafood chowder and mussels and said the same. One of my daughters had the spaghetti bolognese and said it was fantastic. The other 4 children ordered off the children’s menu: pizza baguettes, hot dog, and goujons of chicken, corn on the cob, and garlic bread. All plates were cleared! They also give children little coins for ordering healthy choices and finishing their plates that can be traded in for little prizes (you can also purchase the little prizes for a small price so there are no problems ;-). Over all, a great experience and great food. I will definitely return!

We had great service and desserts when we stopped by here after the Cliffs of Moher. It’s very cozy and homey! I loved our quaint window seat with candles, plants, and trinkets.

Stopped at the Kitchen along the way to the Cliffs partly due to their kind of funny road signs, and partly because the driver needed a break.
Service was friendly. Food was great. Cozy restaurant and takes card!

This is a great stop, post-​Cliffs of Moher. It is especially nice if the weather is good. The views are tremendous. We had salads and sandwiches. Everything was fresh and tasty, especially the salad greens. No bagged lettuce here! Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Atmosphere: 4. Super family friendly. Everything from the playground outside to the free diapers inside the bathrooms. Made for kids.
Price: 4. Not bad. Decent food for decent prices.
Notes: Burgers are more like meatloaf. Beers are all canned. Can’t complain and would go there again in a heartbeat.

leaving the cliffs of moher and heading up to galway? is it time to eat? might want to make it a stop and grab a meal at this adorable cottage… chowder, sandwiches and fish&chips make it a great place to eat after enjoying the GORGEOUS scenery at the cliffs…

I ate the best Banoffee Pie of my life at the Stonecutters Kitchen! The whole restaurant is lovely decorated, ideal for families with kids and the waitresses were very friendly and Karen, the owner shared some of her delicious recipes with us! The free Wi-​Fi is also very nice and my sister fell in love with their dog Pippa. We are glad that we found that lovely place and we will return on our next trip!

Great food and a beautiful location. The food was fresh and the deserts were good. I was recommended this place by a worker at the Other Avenues Co-​Op. We just happened to be staying at a B&B up the way a bit and hopped over to give it a try. Glad we did as it was a good meal.
