Hard to believe that I have now been going to the wise owl for the best part of 20 years. It was always the first place we would go when looking for School supplies in August as we awaited the dread of going back to school in September. The wise owl almost has this Harry Potter feel about it– hard to find, claustrophobic, books to the ceilings and a mix of old/​new. Although only small this shop always seems to have what you are looking for and if not the staff will happily point you in the right direction.
