Food was very tasty but when it was time to pay the bill I was shocked at the price. I was charged € 10 for scrambled egg and mushrooms, brown toast and tea. When I queried the price I was told that because I had ordered«outside the menu“the price was much higher. In other words if I had ordered a four or five item breakfast instead of a two item breakfast I would have paid 3 to 4 euros less. Which makes absolutely no sense to me. Since I don’t eat meat I was limited in my choice of breakfast items. My first and last time to eat here needless to say.

Finding an early breakfast on a Sunday morning is no easy task in Ireland. ZuZu Café opened at 0930. It has a tasteful, open décor, with big windows for lots of natural light. The staff and the owner were very attentive and friendly. Our order was quickly and deliciously prepared with terrific presentation. Wonderful café americano. The scones, prepared on the premises, berry for me and pear for my wife, were absolutely to die for. All a very reasonable € 25 total for both of us.

Nice open atmosphere and the coffee was really nice. Advertised as having a children’s play area… yeah right! Eggs Benedict wasn’t bad and my other half had the full brekky… looked nice, no complaints from her but the smell of the cooker/gas/oven was very off-putting. Won’t be rushing back.
