Allicano is a nice little boutique that features the designs of its owner, Una O’Reilly, in addition to other splendid and girly frocks. The selection is quite feminine and pretty, with a focus on elegant yet casual dresses. Imagine lots of fine jersey-knits spruced up with chains, lace, and a bit of sparkle. All of it is very tasteful and rather understated, with a lot of greys, creams and other muted tones. I found the clothes to be really nice, not too, too expensive but ultimately a teeny bit boring. There were some really remarkable pieces that caught my eye, but most of it was pretty but fairly ordinary. I didn’t find myself being wowed, but liking the tone of the apparel as a whole. It’s worth a stop in every once in a while to see what they’ve got.
