Usually love this florist, used them for my wedding and for sending bouquets. Sent birthday flowers to my mum and an utter disaster. Aggressive delivery man, inept at directions and very late. Flowers not up to the usual standard. Incredibly disappointing. Made a birthday miserable. If ordering online I advise phoning to discuss your order as my delivery note was ignored. I however will unlikely be repeating my business which is sad as their flowers are indeed gorgeous.

Appasionata Flowers is a gorgeous shop and fits like a glove on Drury Street and all that is creative in the Creative Quarter of Dublin. My last visit was on Unilocal #DublinDesignNight and although I didn’t get to witness the very popular workshop (mental note — for the next event get my name on the list asap) I did get to witness the friendly and happy Ruth Monahan who owns and runs the shop with Appasionata passion! Inside and the shop is very stylishly lit. We were treated on the night to some punch.

Very disappointed with the quality of flowers and delivery service in March. Would definitely not recommend — there are far better options out there. I wonder if they took advantage of me ordering from overseas but thankfully, my sister (recipient) was honest and told me. Will not use again.

They really are the best florists in Dublin. I’d describe them more as designer floral artists than florists because the pieces they create are amazing. I’ve used them for work events but also for personal bouquets and they’ve never failed to impress.

Really nice flowers and plants, but kind of expensive. It was nice that you did not have to buy the pot with the plant, which dropped the cost by about 10 euros.

Beautiful little shop that doesn’t seem to have the usual tacky paraphernalia associated with other florists. I’m thinking of adding my boyfriend to their mailing list:)

Such a fantastic flower shop with some beautiful potted plants outside. I especially loved their vase selection. Perfect place to find a present. Worth a visit.

Beautifully presented florist at the Drury Street entrance to the Georges St Markets. Appassionata Flowers looks just like a shop you might find in a fairytale French village. It is oh so cutely decked out and everything is arranged to perfection.
Gardening enthusiasts will be pleased to know that there is a fairly healthy range of potted plants in store (more than at most florists) and a very cool range of pots and potting implements. My favourites are the bright white gumboots and watering cans — both used as pots — genius!
Appasstionata also does flower arrangements to order, and outside there is a lovely range of ivy plants in wooden boxes — just perfect for your windowsill!
